Your Identity Is Secure

“For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God.” Colossians 3:3

The world measures leaders by their accomplishments, but Scripture says your life is hidden with Christ. That means your true identity is not exposed to the constant judgment of others. It is safe in the Father’s hands.

When leaders forget this, insecurity drives decisions. We take on too much, say yes when we should say no, or lead from fear of losing influence. But when our identity is secure in Christ, we are free to serve without striving.

This security gives leaders courage. You no longer have to protect your image or prove your worth. Your hidden life in Christ is the unshakable foundation of your leadership.

Application

  • What fears tempt me to prove my worth?

  • How would my leadership look different if I fully trusted my life is hidden in Christ?

  • Where do I need to rest in God’s protection today?

Prayer: Lord, thank you that my life is hidden with Christ in you. Remind me that no achievement or failure can add or take away from who I am in you. Help me to lead from a place of security, not striving. Amen.
