Clarity Of Calling

Proverbs 4:25 “Let your eyes look straight ahead, fix your gaze directly before you.”
What’s up family?
One of the most freeing truths in my journey is this. God does not bless confusion. He blesses clarity. Clarity is not about having every detail nailed down. It is about knowing the direction your life is pointed.
When I stepped into my calling years ago, I had more questions than answers. Seminary was stretching me. Ministry was stretching me. Bills were stretching me. Life felt like it was pulling me in twenty different directions. But God kept bringing me back to this verse. Let your eyes look straight ahead. Fix your gaze.
Clarity is not noise. Clarity is focus. It is choosing the one thing God is shaping in you rather than chasing every opportunity that crosses your path. It is learning to say, “This is my lane in this season,” and then trusting God to meet you there.
In my Lead From Wholeness work, I often say it this way. When you lack clarity, you drift. When you gain clarity, you move with purpose. Your yes becomes stronger. Your no becomes cleaner. You stop trying to be all things to all people and start being faithful to what God actually asked of you.
Maybe you are in a season right now where everything feels urgent. Emails, texts, needs, and expectations swirl around you. This verse invites you to step out of the swirl. Lift your eyes. Look straight ahead. Ask God to show you the one direction he wants you to lean toward right now.
Clarity will not always make life easy. But it will make your next step simple.
Activation: Ask God this question: What is the one thing you want me to lean into this week?
Write down what rises in your spirit and take one concrete step toward it in the next twenty four hours.
Thanks for reading.
